Let it beer

Last week my colleague Samuele gave me a beautiful box saying that his company founded last year a craft brewery and that they were starting up with the business.
It goes without saying that yesterday I was visiting the “Manto Bianco” brewery in Quarto d’Altino, 40 km far from Venice. It’s a small brewery but I appreciated a lot the clear ideas they have and they aim to produce many different type of beers in order to create their own style experimenting with different ingredients.
Currently they have available 14 different beers, starting from the classic German pilsner or blanche up to the American Ipa, the Belgian Red Ale, the Indian Pale Ale and their interesting Brown Ale… In conclusion, there is a little something for everyone!
I tasted almost all their types of beer and I appreciated a lot that every single type is something different that an ordinary beer with his own character.
They are also building a small loft that is going to be used as tasting room.

Passionate about wine since childhood, when with my teeth I punctured the plastic cap of my Dad’s mini liquor bottles or when I got drunk by Franciscan Monks after church. I was five and since I enjoyed the first, I drank also the second glass… For me wine is just a passion to share with other people, that allows me to spend beautiful moments and to discover places that otherwise I never would have visited. Since I also love food, I’m going to discuss not only about wines, but I’ll be glad to share with you my favourite restaurants all around Italy. Stay tuned!
